Nanaimo

A truck driver friend and I were hauling woodchips from Nanaimo to Port Alberni, late at night.  We were returning to Nanaimo for the final load, when all the lights the motor on the the truck, everything died.  What makes it creepy is that all the street lights and town lights also went out at exactly the same time!  My friend who is 300 lbs. 6 ft 4, calmly got out of the truck saying this is weird.  He looked the truck over and nothing was wrong.  After 5 minutes the truck fired up no problem.  The following week, we learned that unusual lights had been spotted off the coast of Victoria BC, which is down island.  Coincidence?
