The university`s EFSC – Florida Tech Track is a dual-admission program designed to help college graduates in Florida earn an Associate Of Arts degree from efSC, followed by a bachelor`s degree from Florida Tech. This program is open to all majors, and transfer scholarships up to florida Tech`s full tuition are available for students who qualify. EFSC students interested in studying civil, chemical and marine engineering at Florida Tech can also explore the FITS-STEM scholarship program, which provides up to $10,000 per year for a period of two years, depending on financial need. An agreement also gives students in the efSC Organizational Management Bachelor of Applied Science program a path to Florida Tech`s SmartTrack MBA program if they reach the executive level and maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.4. Through statewide agreements once you earn your AA degree, the articulation agreements and transfer process of the florida college and university system protect your credits earned at EFSC, allowing you to continue your studies at articulated private institutions. A room change date is set at the beginning of each semester after the registration deadline (the first two weeks of each semester). During this period, residents can request a room change without financial penalty. In case of approval, the move must take place during the third week of the semester and be completed within 48 hours of approval. Residents should understand that this is only a request and will be considered at the discretion of the accommodation staff and room availability. All room transfer requests received after the first room transfer period (within the 3rd week of the semester) will be subject to an administration fee of $30.00. Residents who do not follow these procedures may be denied their request for a room transfer. Residents who move from rooms without written permission from the Office of Housing and Residential Living must return to their original location and may be fined $75.00 in addition to administrative fees and/or disciplinary action. Room moves at the end of the semester must be done BEFORE the students leave for the semester break. If this does not happen, the request for room transfer will be rejected. Residents may also be reassigned due to a judicial sanction. Under the so-called 2+2 system, the State of Florida guarantees that students who complete their AA degree here at EFSC can apply for a bachelor`s degree at one of Florida`s 12 state universities.
